The VOW RENEWAL of the YEAR: Bishop O.C. Allen and Rashad Burgess | Say “I Do” in Luxury and Style (Buckhead Atlanta)

(Atlanta – July 19, 2023) First of all, I work alot without looking up to appreciate the wins, but to be part of the team who’s work made it to a People Magazine feature, I celebrate this WIN! Salute team, Job Well Done!

One of the major highlights of the iElevate National Conference Week was the opportunity to be part of the planning team for the Vow Renewal ceremony of Bishop O.C. Allen and First Gentleman Rashad Burgess. Despite being the host of iElevate, I could not resist a chance to stand on the side of queer-history as these two remarkable men of Black excellence say, “I do” to commemorate 20 years of life together.

The Grooms looked smashing in custom tuxedoes designed by Octavius Terry giving Hollywood glam with Christian Louboutin, red bottom shoes to match. Each guest was asked to wear formal white as part of the ambiance to create the perfect environment for romance and love. And let me say, the people came tailored and styled to perfection to witness this momentous occasion.

This weekend was certainly one for the books. I love, love and the joy it bring into our lives. Bishop O.C. Allen and Rashad Burgess commitment shows us what is possible when two agree to commit, build, motivate and be a ride or die for each other. I am fully grateful for having examples like Bishop Allen and Rashad within the black LGBTQ+ community to showcase that our love is magical, our love is resilient, our love story is worth writing for the present generation and the next to know our love language matter.

The moment I discovered LOVE, I realized you were here all the time. Thankful, I was afforded the opportunity to play a part in the narration of their Love Story.
